Our school is an European style, new and beautiful campus. Before coming to school, I believe you may have imagined more than once how beautiful our campus is, but when you approach her, you can not help but marvel at her beauty. Our school is locatedin Shanghai's back yard garden, Sheshan Songjiang, there are five European-style villas built at the foot of the mountains, surrounded by green trees, infiltrated Sheshan naturaland cultural beauty, she is not an "education container", but an aerobic books bar for all teachers and students toseek kindness, truth and beauty.

我校是一所源自英伦、根植中国的学校。英国阿德科特学校拥有111年的历史，校舍为英国一级保护类建筑，教育成就卓著，而我校所在地松江被誉为“上海之根”，当我们回眸历史你会蓦然发现，作为海外所分校，我校与英国阿德科特学校的历史底色是那么地契合。

Our school originated from UK and rooted in China. The Adcote School has a historyof 111 years. Its buildings are the first-class protective buildings in UK, and have the outstanding educational achievements. The Songjiang River, where our school is located, is known as the"rootof Shanghai." When we look back on its history, you will suddenly findthat, as its first overseas branch school, our school and the Adcote School in UK are so close to each other as we have the similar historical background.

今年是我从事教育工作的第29个年头，这么多年来，亲历众多孩子的教育成长，我真切地感受到，教育是农业，不是工业。我有幸成为上海阿德科特学校总校长，很期待能与各位老师一道精心耕作上海阿德科特这块国际教育田园，精心培育每一粒种子、每一颗幼苗，春生、夏长、秋收、冬藏，成就孩子未来!

This year is my 29th year of working as an educator. Over the years, I have witn essedthe education and growth of many students. I really feel that education asagriculture, not as industry，we help the students to grow uprather than we produce any kinds of production. I have the privilege to be the Chief Principalof Shanghai Adcote School. I look forward to working with all the teachers tocultivate this international education field in Adcote, Shanghai. I will workhard to cultivate every seed and seedling carefully. I believe every student will grow up as seed burgeoning in spring, growing in summer,harvesting in autumn and storing in winter so as to help them to achieve theirdream!

我坚信，佘山脚下这方宝地一定花繁叶茂、硕果累累。
